James Morrison Obituary

James W. Morrison, 76, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on September 30, 2003. Jim, a pillar of family values, is survived by his loving wife Marge and her two children, his two daughters, two grandchildren, and an expanding number of great grandchildren. Jim had a zest for Iife and gave generously of his time, knowledge and experience to enable his loved ones to fulfill their dreams. Among his many pursuits, he was especially passionate about tennis and golf. Jim will be remembered as a worthy competitor and best known as a distinguished gentleman who always placed the interests of others first. We miss him dearly. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to: Flagstaff Medical Center Foundation, Tribute Program, 1200 N. Beaver, Flagstaff, AZ 86001, in memory of James W. Morrison, and in recognition of Dr. Charles Bell, Dr. Steven Hoover and the nursing staffs of 3 South and the CCU; or Barrow Neurological Institute, Research Foundation, St. Joseph's Hospital CHW, 350 W. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85013. Services will be Friday, October 3rd at 2:00 in the chapel at Messinger's Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale.

I must apologize for my tardiness. I didn't know of Jim's death until last Friday (10/17). I have known Jim for many years as a good friend of the family, many years association at AlliedSignal and an occasional round of golf. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him.
