Life was not always perfect for Jean, but she was as close to perfect as could be. She worked hard and did a great job caring for her family. She raised her six children to respect others and to make a difference in life. She left us too soon, but will always live on in our memories. I could not have asked for anything better in a mother. I love you Mom, Marc

It was yesterday when I heard that Jean is now with the Lord. She was a true friend-I loved talking and visiting with her thru the years. For 15 years she never missed a birthday or X-mas card. I enjoyed her sense of humor, especially her laugh. I truly miss my friend and collegue.

Meg, Cathy, and Beth
I was saddened to read in the newspaper of the passing of your mother.
Even though I never had the pleasure of knowing your mom; I’m sure, like each of you, she was truly a wonderful and caring person who enjoyed life to the fullest, and will be missed by many.
God bless and my deepest sympathy to the entire Flynn family.

Jean Flynn is one of the most influential people in my life. While working as Risk Manager at Mesa Lutheran Hospital, she was my supervisor. Truly she was my greatest career mentor. Her wisdom and encouragement helped me to find myself and she gave me wings to achieve my dreams. Her influence continues to guide me today. I will always remember her intellect, kindness, quick witt, dislike for computer glitches, and most importantly her love for her family. What a remarkable person! Of the many people I have encounterd in my life, she was among the most genuine. Jean was very highly regarded by all who knew her and she will forever hold a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with her beloved children and grandchildren at this time. God be with you.

As a new nurse at Mesa Lutheran, Jean was the rock and when she walked everyone moved over to let her go by. I will never forget when i would hear Jean call my name and say, "Kyle, can we talk..". Jean was a charting role model with the haunting words, "IF NOT DOCUMENTED ITS NOT DONE". I am sure many reading about the great loss can relate to such feelings and stories.
I am sorry for OUR loss to health care and all her family.

Jean was my supervisor when I first moved to Phoenix and worked at SMH. She was a supportive colleague to me and I always appreciated her common sense approach to work and life in general. My prayers are with her family.
