John Bayus Obituary

Bayus, John Jr.
John Bayus, Jr., 81, passed away March 3, 2010 in Glendale AZ. Born July 3, 1928 in Youngstown OH, he was the second of eight boys born to John and Edna Bayus. He served in the U.S Army during the Korean conflict. John was a man of many accomplishments and talents. He was a devoted family man whose highest calling was that of providing for and taking care of his family. He was blessed with a strong work ethic and understood the virtues of discipline, honesty and respect. John is survived by his daughters Bunny (Tim) Lemak; and Di Anne Bayus; his very special & constant companion Margaret Krautwurst; brothers Raymond, Edward & James, many nieces & nephews and ex-wife Jeanette Bayus. He was preceded in death by brothers Andy, Joseph, Paul and Thomas. A very special thank you goes to the staff, residents and the Hospice family at: The Place at Glendale (now Emeritus at Glendale). Services will be held at St. Stephen's Byzantine Catholic Church, 8141 N. 16th St. Phoenix at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2010. A luncheon will follow in the Parish Hall. His cremated remains will then be taken to the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. Phoenix. where he will be placed in the Columbarium. In lieu of flowers a contribution may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix, AZ 85014.
