Debbie and family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Having someone taken away so suddenly and at such a young age leaves a hole that many cannot understand. I I pray that you feel the love of family, friends, and even strangers through the acts of kindness they display. I pray that you can take comfort in knowing that many are feeling this loss with you. And I pray that you will learn to take comfort that your son's life was a life well lived.

My Deepest Sympathies,

I remember John as having such a sweet smile and disposition. My family saw the Bottom family at church after John had gone into the service. They all seemed so very proud of him and his decision to serve. We are so very sorry for your loss.

I will always remember John with his ready smile. I remember when Mr. Gilchrist used him in a school wide taping for the WWA t-shirt sales. He was so shy in front of the camera. Such a nice kid who became a wonderful young man.
