Dear Aunt Jean and family,
I'll always remember the fine visit we all had when you came to Oregon in the VW. Wow, what a packing job Uncle John did! Other visits and calls have built the memories to hold dear of him and of you all. I thank God for the legacy of love Uncle John has left for us. I anxiously await a grand reunion in heaven.
With love and prayers,
Kathy Mikolas

Dear Aunt Jean - I'm sorry for your loss and that I wasn't able to be there for the funeral. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in the loss of my dear Uncle John. I'm sure mom, Aunt Inger and he are rejoicing in the presents of the Lord. May his love & peace surround you and keep you safe and strong. Love, Kathy & family

Some people come into our lives and quickly go, some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same. That was my Dad! Happy Fathers Day!

Dad,
Every second, every minute, every hour....I miss you....I love you so very much that my heart aches...I just want to feel that you are near...you are in my heart, soul and mind....thank you so much for allowing me to be your daughter, and accepting me for me without a doubt...but...also wanting me to be the Christian women that you taught me to be.

Dad, today is a rough day. I am missing you more than I can say. Thank you for teaching us, "What is important in life is how we treat each other". It will be hard to not see you or talk to you. Remember me.

You will be missed dearly Grandpa. We all know you are in a better place and you will keep on shaking that finger at us all, while drinking your Dr.Pepper. I will miss you always.

Our loss is Heaven's gain. I had the pleasure to call him Dad (father-in-law). With his reassuring smile, you could always see God when you looked at him. The Christmas story took on a "special meaning" each time he told it. While he thoroughly enjoyed all his titles, (Dad, Grandpa, Son, Brother & Husband) the one he took the most pride in was "Child of God." We will all miss you & Love You Forever.....Vaya Con Dios until we meet again...

Grandpa you will always be my hero. Your faith was stronger than any person I know and I will always remember you for that. I will always remember your smile and your awesome sense of humor. You were one stand up guy and if I can be just one tenth of the man you are, I think I will be one heck of a man myself. I love you and am looking forward to seeing you again in heaven.
