John Masaryk Obituary

John Masaryk January 13, 1916-March 13, 2008 John Masaryk, born 1/13/1916 - went to heaven on 3/13/2008. He was born in Passaic, New Jersey and raised in Hllovek, Czechoslovakia. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary; son, John F. Masaryk, daughter, Bobbi Town, and "daughter" Linda Masaryk, granddaughter Kristi Colonna (John) and his absolute treasure, great granddaughter Samantha. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters. He leaves many nieces and nephews on the East Coast as well as in Canada. John served his Country in World War II, as a United States Army Staff Sergeant. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 3/18/08, 5-8 PM, A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, 3/19/08,10:30 AM at Nat'l Memorial Cemetery of AZ, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix, AZ 85014. VETERAN

Dear Masaryk Family: I am so very sorry for your loss of my dear Uncle John. He was a gentle, great man. I wish we could be on the west coast with you during this time, but know you are all in my thoughts. Now he is with God, and his siblings in heaven, but will forever be in our hearts.
