I will always remember the generousity that Dan and Pat showed to everyone, especially at Pennsbury High School reunions and get-togethers. He was a wonderful man who fought a courageous battle with a dreadful disease. May he rest in peace.

When we moved to Phoenix and met Dan and Pat we knew they were a special couple. In a room of strangers we wanted to talk to Dan. He had a presence about him that made you notice him and light up a room. Pat, our deepest condolences to you and your family.

I am so sorry I was not able to be with you all in person, but I truly was in spirit. It was hard not to love Uncle Dan even if you didn`t have the opportunity to spend alot of time with him, which was unfortunately my experience.
With loving thoughts always,
Wendy

We'll always remember our dear friend Dan for his kindness and gentle ways and all the joy he brought to people around him.
His sincere love for Pat, Shannon, Scott and his two little angels, Cole Daniel and Collin O'Brien, was so obvious. They were the sunshine in his life.
We will always remember his motto "Keep smiling" and his trademark "A thumbs up". He was very special to us and we will miss him dearly.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Pat, Shannon, Scott and their family.
Love, Jennifer and Joe

I will miss the boy who taught us what dancing was all about in high school, the man who married one of my closest friends, Pat, the generous soul who shared so much with so many, the dear friend who celebrated my 60th birthday with me, and the brave man who looked death in the eye and winked for all of us. God bless you Pat and family.
Love and walks around the block, Donna.

A wonderful business associate and friend. Words like "heart, spirit, kindness, and warmth" belong to Dan. The upbeat and positive attitude during his illness was an inspiration to everyone. "Keep smilin'", my friend.

We'll miss that twinkle in his eye and chuckle...Dan was always very good to the girls and me. Thank you Pat and Shannon for sharing him so generously, not only with Bob, but with the rest of us who are so much better off for having known such a kind and cheerful soul. xxoo Cyndi

Dan impressed me throughout our four years together as an affable, intelligent, kind and honest person who we all were privileged to know. We will miss him as a former classmate, as a man and as the husband in a couple we all envied. My deepest sympathy to Pat and to his family.

I couldn't have asked for a more supportive Plebe Summer/Year roommate and friend. I am deeply saddened by Dan's passing and will be praying for the "peace that surpasses all understanding" for Pat and the rest of Dan's family.

Dan was not only a Naval Academy classmate and Company-mate, but a good friend. He and Pat made a handsome couple for 40 years, and his warmth and affability will be greatly missed by all of us.
