Tom and I were saddened to hear of John's passing. I knew John in high school when he lived with the Holloway family. My family (the Ryan's) lived across the street. I have fond memories of John, Carol and I going to the corner store on the small tractor and John always drove. We rode horses together, played basketball, etc. We had lots of fun together. He was a good guy and he'll be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember John as a terrific, giving person and a good friend. We attended Glendale Community College and ASU together. I spent many weeks with him on the Navajo reservation while he studies beaver communities as an ASU undergrad, hunted reptiles and tagged along with him on field biology projects. In 1976 Linda and I were privileged to have him in our wedding party. I regret not keeping in touch all these years but a couple of years ago we re-connected via e-mail and talked about teaching our daughters to drive, a fun experience for all. Linda and I will always keep him in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers go with you during this difficult time.
