I met Jack in the 60's in New Jersey. I was working for Ronson Aviation and he was working for Carson Helicopters. One of their aircraft had broken down on the airport where I worked and I invited him for coffee and to get warm in our hangar, to get warm, since it was winter. Imagine my surprise in the mid-70's when I went to work at Hughes Helicopters and saw him at Palomar (Flight Test Facility). It was fun to see him again and to work with him..............he had a great sense of humor, often at my expense because of my being a female pilot.
My sympathies to Joyce and the family, he will be missed by many.

I worked with Jack in flight test. I loved working with Jack as he was funny and had a lot of good stories to share. He was one of the good guys from Palomar airport and stories he told were endless. I learned a lot from Jack about flight test and peculiar adjustments on the helicopters we tested.
Thanks Jack for all your knowledge you gave to me and your special friendship. Until we meet again my friend.

I just learned of Jack's passing and was completely shocked! I worked with Jack for many years, and he was always was a friend I could not only trust but to hold my confidence. When I retired I had not seen or talked with Jack for many years. A few months back I found his telephone number, and we got caught up with our lives. Next month, I planned on taking a trip to Mesa and visit old friends and Jack and Joyce were on my list. Take care Jack you will be missed my many. Until we meet again my friend R.I.P ........Doug & Mai.

John, known to us as Jack, was a special friend that will be missed by all who knew him. He was a warm fuzzy type of friend that you could always count on and who you wanted to be around. His smile and sense of humor defined his relationships. Hugs and kisses to you Jack - you leave a void in this world but I am sure you are doing your thing with the angels - until we meet again LOVE YA! Diane and Hugh Haffner (Port Angeles, WA)

My deepest sympathy to Joyce, Stephan and Jack's Grandchildren. I had the pleasure of working with Jack for many years during our employment with Hughes Helicopters, McDonnell Douglas, Boeing and MD Helicopters. I will remember your smile and upbeat attitude. You loved your family first, your work second and you were very loyal and dedicated to both. You will be missed and forever in my heart. Kathy Rupp
