Mr. Song was a long time family friend. His store was a place where we locals felt welcomed and safe. My grandmother once asked me to go to his store and tell him she needed a broom and would pay him on Saturday. I walked down (I was about 7?) by myself and got my Nana's broom. Everyone in the neighborhood knew each other, I didn't have to tell him who I was, he knew!! Thanks you for being in my world! Cynthia Gardella Tegge
