Sanchez, Johnny Anthony
Entered the gates of heaven on May 5, 2017. Born July 14, 1954, a United States Army Veteran 1973-1976. Johnny, was loved by many, his heart was kind & sincere, always willing to help others in any way possible. He is preceded in death by his parents Edward V. Sanchez, Sr. and Vella Vargas Garcia. Survivors include his only daughter, Vanessa Olivas (Gregory) and 4 grandchildren, Elvira, Gregory Jr., Gabriel and Daniel. Siblings include Frank Altamirano (deceased), Yolanda Altamirano, Roland Altamirano, Diane Ortega, Edward Sanchez, Jr., Tommy Sanchez and Aunt MaryLou Sanchez Garcia. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at St. Jerome Catholic Church at 11:00 am, 10815 North 35th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85029, interment following at the National Memorial Cemetery at 1:00 pm, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85024.

My Dearest Uncle Johnny, You will forever be in my heart I love you and have great memories growing up with you in my life I cherish all my wonderful memories with you I wish I could see the letter I wrote to you in the 70's and made it all the way to Korea where you were stationed and S and H green stamps.
