Daoust, Joseph H.
98, of Scottsdale passed away on May 17, 2010. Beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Preceded in death by Bernadette Nan Gannon Daoust and sons Richard & Mark. Survived by 6 children, Kathleen Asam (Jim), Diane Clemens (Charles), and sons Rev. Joseph, S.J., Ray (Barb), Paul (Pat), Greg (Susan), 23 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. WW II Captain in the U.S. Army Air Corps was interred with military honors in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona on May 21, 2010. Contributions to The Jesuits, 7303 W. Seven MIle Rd., Detroit, MI, 48221 or Society of St. Vincent de Paul, PO Box 13600 Phoenix 85002-3600.

The Chicago and Detroit Province Jesuits wish to express their deepest condolences to all of Joseph's family and friends. He will continue to be remembered daily in their prayers and good works. Joe was a cherished Companion of the Jesuits, among them his son, Rev. Joseph P. Daoust, SJ, on the journey of faith and service, "Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam."
