Joseph Popadince Obituary

Popadince, Joseph
January 23, 1929 ~ October 15, 2009. This gentle man took on the fight of his life and though he fought valiantly he was defeated and left the confines of this earth to seek the very best golf courses and fishing spots. He leaves behind beautiful memories for his life partner Dottie Watson; four children, Judie Popadince, Michael Popadince, Barbara Waananen and Mrs. Patricia Fiorini; his brother Donald Popadince and his wife Mary Kay and family. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, and an entire community of friends and family too numerous to mention. He was predeceased by his mother Anna Tarasuck; his father, Michael Popadince; brother, Jack Popadince and his late wife Muriel. In the eighty years Joe spent here he did so much for so many. There was not a single person that did not marvel at his ability to embrace life or envy his boundless energy. We truly will never forget what he brought to each and every one of our lives. Please join us for a celebration of Joe's life on Saturday October 24, 2009 at 2pm, it will take place at the ballroom at Trilogy at Power Ranch, 4369 E. Village Parkway, Gilbert, AZ.

Dear Dottie, We are very sorry to hear of Joe's passing, he will always be in your heart, and Thank God for all the wonderful memories you have of your time with him, NO one can ever take that away from you....may I please share this with you, and I hope it brings you some comfort..Loving words from Joe, I'm gone now, but I'm still very near. Death can never seperate us. Each time you feel a gentle breeze, It's my hand caressing your face. Each time the wind blows, It carries my voice whispering your name. When the wind blows your hair ever so slightly, Think of it as me pushing a few stray hairs back in place..When you feel a few raindrops fall on your face, It's me placing soft kisses. At night look up in the sky and see the stars shining so brightly. I'm one of those stars and I'm winking at you and smiling with delight. For never forget... you're the apple of my eye. Our Love, Jim & Roberta (J)
