Joyce LaFlam Obituary
Joyce Frechette LaFlam, 84 passed away peacefully on February 9, 2015. She was the widow of William H. LaFlam. They shared 62 years of marriage together.
Born in Woodstock, Vermont, she was the daughter of Hazel (Rahue) and Edward Frechette. She graduated Brattleboro High School in 1948.
As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints she very much enjoyed her Genealogy work. She will always be remembered for her ginger snap cookies and her beautiful and loving smile.
She is survived by her four sons and their wives, Scott and Susan, Dana and Pricilla, William and Kathy, Brett and Marla, Son-in-law Robert Gillette, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Kathleen Ann Gillette.
The viewing will be held at 11am on February 18, 2015 followed by a memorial service at 12pm, at the Church or Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1415 E. Southern Ave. Mesa AZ, 85204. Please visit www.MelcherChapelofRoses.com to share memories or leave condolences.

Aunt Jo sparked my interest in genealogy and history. I so enjoyed our letters and conversations while we added more ancestors to the family tree. I will miss her warm smile and voice.
