Kitty Balow Obituary

Kitty Balow, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on December 13, 2005, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. A descendant of an early 1860's pioneer family, Kitty was born on June 1, 1941 to Roy and Ada Bacon Steele in Kingman, Arizona and received her education in Mohave County. Dale and Kitty met on September 3, 1961, in Williams, Arizona, and were married on September 13, 1961. They spent over 45 happy years together. Kitty excelled in making a truly warm and loving home, not only for her family and relatives, but for friends and strangers alike. Survivors include her husband, Dale H. Balow; one daughter, Bonnie (Joe) Tyree; two sons, "Buddy" (Dale Ray) Balow and Ben (Renee Lieffort) Balow; a sister, Norma Isaacs; four grandsons, Eph Balow, Ian Kitterman, Dylan Tyree, and Ben Balow; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Kitty's life will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, December 17, 2005, at American Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott Drive, Prescott. Interment will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, December 19, 2005, at the Skull Valley Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home assisted the family with the final arrangements.
