Larry Morones Obituary
61, of Phoenix, passed away on June 17, 2009. He is survived by his loving wife, Lydia; children, Susan Salinas, Philip Morones, and Chris Morones; his six grandchildren; and his mother, Juanita Burrola. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Tim. Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd., Peoria, on Sunday, June 21 from 6-8 PM, with rosary service at 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5510 W. Cholla St., Glendale, on Monday, June 22 at 8:30 AM, with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

My name is Irene Morales (Andrada). I attended Monroe School with Larry a long time ago. He was one of the most courteous, thoughtful and considerate friends I ever had. He never said an inappropriate word and was always a gentleman at all times. Back then, my mother took me and my sisters to a mission which was near Larry's house. We went every Sunday night so that we would have something to eat. I remember seeing Larry in his front yard while we were waiting in line to eat. He always waved to me but on Monday morning back at school, he never mentioned to anyone that my family had to go to the mission. I will never forget his kindness and his compassion for the feelings of others. I will always appreciate his friendship and hope his family finds peace during this difficult time.
Larry, may you rest in peace.

My prayers and thoughts are with the family, Lily, Susan, Philip and Chris, grandkids also with his Mom Jenni, the girls Joyce and Barbara and his brother Bubby. I will surely miss you and you will always be in heart. I am proud to have had you as my best friend growing up but also as my comparde. May you have great journey home...and I'm not going to say goodbye because i'll see you soon. God Bless you Larry..........

I wish to express my condolences to Larry's family & friends. My name is Teresa Finnell. I am Vicky Morones' daughter. Vicky is one of Manuel Morones' daughters. Brother to Tim. Vicky is Larry's first cousin. So he was my second cousin. Although I didn't know Larry, I wish I could've. My heart goes out to the family.
