Lawrence J Thorne

On the morning of June 11, 8 Bells rang out announcing the "End of Watch" for Lawrence J Thorne. He was 85. He passed peacefully in his sleep, as was his wish. He was a retired member of the U.S. Navy.

Born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan in 1934. He spent his life helping others. Larry was a proud member of the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians, and a devout member of St Vincent de Paul Catholic church in Phoenix.

He is survived by two sisters Monica & Dolores. Four Brothers Don, Bob, Lou & Vic, numorous neices & nephews and many special friends.

Visitation will be at St Vincent de Paul Catholic church at 9am on Friday 6/26/2020 with a Mass to follow at 10am.

Flowers can be sent (to arrive by Thursday) or a donation made to the Cancer Society in his name.
