Leslie Hasart Obituary
Leslie Dewayne Hasart, age 86 of Phoenix, AZ passed away on March 19, 2016. Leslie was born October 2, 1930 to Jacob and Carrie Hasart in Ree Heights, SD. A farm boy from a family of 13 children, he learned at an early age to work hard. Leslie joined the United States Army in July of 1953. He was discharged in May, 1955 and married his wife, Linda Lou Phillips in 1956. He worked for Hennessey for ten years in Dodgeville, WI; Presto Industries in Eau Claire, WI for 20 years and Phoenix, AZ cleaning meat packing plants. He is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Perry Hasart; three brothers, seven sisters, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and her husband and two brothers. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Wed, March 23, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 830 E Plaza Circle, Litchfield Park, AZ. Interment will follow at 12:30 pm at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024. Condolences for the family can be left at www.thompsonfuneralchapel.com.
