It's hard to believe ten years have passed. I still think of your mom often. My kids are now he age I was when I met your mom. I tell my kids some of the fun stories Lindsey and I had together. I always thought she was the coolest "Aunt" that had ever existed. She still lives in our hearts. Peace be with your mom and both of you.

Please accept my deepest sympathy to you and your family. Your Mom was my very dearest friend through High School. She and her family were my second family. Those were the most exciting and happy days of my life spending almost every waking hour either with your Mom or on the phone with her. My greatest regret is that I lost touch with her. Danielle and Brooks,
Your mom and I shared a special friendship, and I will always hold her in my heart as my 'sister'. I am forever thankful that we kept in touch through the years. Our last phone conversation was on July 14th.... we spoke for over an hour and most of the chatter was about you two. Never doubt that she loved you both with ALL her heart! You were her life!
I have had you, and your Grandmother, in my thoughts and prayers since I heard the news. It comforts me to know you realize God is with you.... always.

I had the opportunity to get to know Lindsey when I taught her 2 children kindergarten. She was involved in their education from day one and she loved her kids with all of her heart. Danielle and Brooks, I know God will give you the strength to get through this. Your mom will be missed by all of us.

Danielle and Brooks: I am holding you close in my prayers. I am so sorry your mom left us. She loved you more than anything in the world. Our talks always got around to talking about you two. She so loved it when she could take you places and do things with her. She just beamed when your names came up. She loved to go to movies, ice skating, on walks, short trips…anything so she could be close to you when you were there. Keep all those good mom thoughts close to your heart. I’m keeping all those good Lindsey thoughts close to mine…

I am so sorry about your mom. She loved you tremendously, and was so very proud of you both. You could see her swell up with pride when she spoke of you. Lindsey was a life time friend. She was passionate about writing, Thunderbird, pets and a true humanitarian. She left some amazing footprints on this Earth, and she did make a difference in many lifes. She will be missed. Will always remember Lindsay's friendship and support throughout the years. She and Danielle went to my dad's home to prepare food in '95 while my family was at his service, and I got to thank them just before they left. She was happy to do anything for her friends. She loved her kids so much. She was a great IABC buddy too. We will all miss her.
