Lois Hubbard Obituary

Hubbard, Lois Love
passed away on Oct 15, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Eagar AZ, Aug 19, 1926. She was 87. She was known for her feistiness, her love of life, and her determination. She married the love of her life Oliver Lee Hubbard who preceded her in death. After having four children she went back to school at ASU and graduated summa cum laude. She became a teacher and many children loved "Mrs. Hubbard" and she loved them in return. She sold World Book Encyclopedias and was recognized as the top salesperson in the nation. Her grandchildren refer to her as "Grandma Hugger". She loved her family dearly. She was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions. She is survived by her three children and daughter-in-law: Olivia (Val) Walker, Lynette (Lynn) Madsen, Rory (Tiffany) Hubbard and Suzi (Tommy Hubbard - deceased) as well as her brother Kenneth Gale Love and 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday Oct 18th at 10:00 at 8602 N 31st Ave Phoenix AZ 85051, preceded by a viewing at 9:00. Her interment will be Saturday Oct 19th at 1:00 PM at the Eagar Cemetery.

Dear Hubbard family and friends. I have so many fun memories of Lois and you. She was indeed feisty and fun! She told us ghost stories and let us play with her jewelry. Summer just wasn't complete without a visit with the Hubbards. I will always remember her with a smile.

Dear Family of Lois,
How I loved this woman...always so happy and never saw her without a big smile. She was always so ready to talk about family. I last saw her at Tom's service and did not know she was ill and just learned tonight her service was today. Please know of my love and sympathies for each of you. She will be among many loved one there in Eagar.
