Louise Galpin Obituary

Galpin, Louise Beasley
of Phoenix, Arizona passed away April 17, 2010. Born in National City, California, July 23, 1925 to John Marcus and Harriet Ann Beasley, Louise grew up in Coronado. Her husband Col. Harry Tower Galpin, USAF, Ret. predeceased her in death on November 5, 2001. Harry and Louise had retired in Williamsburg, Virginia where she enjoyed homemaking, the game of golf, and her loving friends. She relocated to Phoenix several years after the death of her husband to be near her children. Her daughter Susan Lee Galpin-Tyree; and her daughter Lillian Ross Cook and her husband Curtis John Cook survive her. Another daughter Ann Lynn Galpin survives her. Louise is also survived by grandchildren Brandon Tower Tyree, his wife Shari Lynn Tyree and their daughter Zia Blue Tyree; Brooks Doran Tyree, his wife Lisa Malano Tyree and their daughter Julia Nicole Tyree and son Ryne Malano Tyree; Leah Louise Cook and her son James Ryan Harelson; Kathryn Anne Cook; and James Ross Cook. A graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on June 16, 2010 at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia when she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband. Donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, Arizona 85014.
