Lynette Varsch Obituary
45, passed away June 7, 2014 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born in Arlington Heights, Illinois on October 21, 1968 to John Thomas Hefley and Kathleen Ann Dowling. Lynette died June 7, 2014 in Phoenix, AZ. Lynette's accomplishments in life were many, her largest and most effortless was her capacity to love and give of herself without boundaries. Lynette was a CT Technologist at Maricopa Integrated Health Systems. Lynette is survived by her husband, Jason Varsch; her 2 children, Michael Collon and Abigail Varsch, as well as her 3 bonus children, Helena Varsch, Aleta Varsch and Alex Varsch. She is also survived by her mother Kathleen Dowling, her bonus parent Charles Dowling, her sisters Doreen Hefley and Kelly Colbourn, grandson Mayson Collin, her nephew Renner Colbourn and niece Selma Colbourn - all of who were blessed to feel her love. A memorial services will be held at Queen of Heaven Catholic Mortuary on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. Donations honoring Lynette can be made online at www.aask-az.org or mailed to the following address: AASK, attn.: Julie Turko, 2320 N. 20th St., Phoenix, AZ 85006. My precious daughter, I'll never understand why this happened. You have been a beacon of light in my life for 45 years. You thought of others more than yourself, your were the best mother ever to Michael, your stepchildren Heleana, Aleta & Alex. And you had only just begun to raise darling little Abigail. I hope your husband, Jason, realized what a gem he married because you loved him so much. I will miss you for the rest of my life.

I had the esteemed pleasure to meet and get to know Lynette through work and always enjoyed our conversations and and her wit. Funny and caring while still maintaining a strong will and determination for her job, family and co-workers. She will be missed dearly.

My husband, Dr. Ryan Whitney, would always talk about your kindness. I never met you, but I know you will be very, very much missed. Thank you for being so good to him, and all who did meet you. I met Lynette while at Paddock Elementary School in Palatine. I have so many memories of Lynette that I will cherish and keep close to my heart forever. She always had a smile on her face and made me laugh whenever we were together. In our teenage years, we had moments that we found ourselves laughing uncontrollably all because of Lynette's sense of humor and bubbly personality. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a wonderful friend. My deepest condolences go out to her entire family. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel that will forever shine down on all her loved ones.

I have know Lynette since she was a little girl with a huge smile and so full of life. It was wonderful to watch her grown into the woman she became.
Lynette, was a great Daughter, Wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to so many and for those of us that were lucky to have her in our life will always remember her with a smile. We were lucky to have her in our lives. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family for this loss. The many wonderful memories we all have of of Lynette will keep her with us forever.
