Mark Blacker Obituary

Blacker, Mark
age 73, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on June 14, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife, Jane, daughters and son-in-law Mary Blacker and Margaret & Richard Middleton, grandchildren Ryan and Shannon Middleton, and brother Danny Blacker. Mark served with the US Air Force from 1957 to 1960 and is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. He had a long career in international banking and lived much of his life overseas. Mark was active in numerous non-profit organizations including service as President of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, President of the American Club in Hong Kong, and on the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. Most recently he was a proud member of the Verde Vaqueros riding group. In July, a celebration of his life will be held in Scottsdale. Mark will be greatly missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association (www.americanheart.org) or the YMCA: Scottsdale - Paradise Valley Branch (www.valleyymca.org).
