Mark Dotson Obituary

Dotson, Mark L.
55, of Peoria passed away on November 21, 2014. Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Kay and survived by his wife, Lisa, his children Andrew, Stephanie, Ashley, Kristy, Angela, and Daniel, his father Jon, sisters, Debbie and Diane, and his grandchildren, Trinitie, Bella, Santiago, Alejandro, Zachary, Evelyn, Eli, and Sunshyne. He was laid to rest at West Resthaven Cemetery, in Phoenix. Mark was born in Lawrence, Kansas on May 29, 1959, and moved to Phoenix as a child. He graduated from Apollo High School and DeVry Institute of Technology with his Associates and Bachelors Degrees in Engineering. Mark always had time for his family and friends, and loved sports. He coached baseball and soccer for his kids and enjoyed playing racquetball with close companions every week. Mark was an electronic technician, engineer and manager for 29 years at Honeywell, where he had traveled to far off places, meeting new people, and making many friends around the world. Mark was taken from us too soon, but we find some comfort in the vision of his patented smile and eyebrow wiggle. We will always remember his keen intellect, and wicked sense of humor. Mark will be deeply missed.

Mark you are so indelibly etched on my heart, that in all honesty there is still never a day that passes I don't think about you. Even after 9 years, that's just how special you were. Your family misses you.

Remembering you will always be part of who I am. It's been over five years since you were taken away, and never a day has passed that I don't miss you with all my heart. You were so special. - With My Most Precious Love, Lisa

Mark, You were so special, in so many ways. You loved my sister and I am eternally grateful that she was able to share her love and life with you. You always could get us laughing at our get togethers, your sense of humor was wicked at times, but that was what made you Mark. I think of you daily and I miss you, more than you could realize. You were my "Go To Guy", no one can replace you. I love you brother.

Mark promised me that life with him would never be dull, and he kept that promise for 24 years. Until we're together again, I wait with eternal love.

Mark is greatly missed. He was a great father to me, when he didn't have to be. But that was the type of man he was. I love you, dad.

Lisa, May God Bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I saw his picture and as I read, my heart cried out. The many years I work with him and many many good memories. You tell John that he raised a wonderful son. He will be missed.
