Dear Maffeo family, going through our high school years with some of you I got to know Mary's graciousness and hospitality. She always made all of us feel so welcome and she was always happy to see us. Her humility and dignity was a gift to everyone. Our world needs more people like her and she will be missed. My prayers are for you all to receive God's healing spirit and the love and comfort of His Holy Mother Mary. love, Patty O.

I went to North High with Bob, Martha & Marianne Maffeo. My sister & I were at the house after the services. What a beautiful family the Maffeo's are. My compliments go out to the author & artist of the Mary June "Moon" book and for sharing inspirational stones. My deepest sympathy & prayers are for all who have aching hearts.

Ihave always felt like part of the family because "Mrs. Maffeo" always remembered who I was although there were times I didn't see her for a long period of time. We didn't see eye to eye on things but everyone had to respect her passion and beliefs. I'm sure she touched many lives with her kindness. My condolences to all the faimly and friends

There was a light in Mary that inspired others -- and each time she would meet a friend, she gave her undivided attention, wonderful cheer, inspiration, and support. It was a privilege to know her, a Wyoming (and Arizona) "gal" in every way. Kindest thoughts to her family. Marcia Melton

I knew the John Maffeo family from Bisbee, AZ.
Mary helped many college students from the 3
State Universities, when she was a Member of the
Dougherty Foundation.
Mary was a kind gentle person & was deeply interested
and involved with helping needy College students
obtain scholarship funds from the Dougherty Foundation.
I recall when Mary retired, she was missed by those who
worked with her!
