Mary Weinheimer Obituary

Weinheimer, Mary A. (Krikorian)
Mary Agnes (Krikorian) Weinheimer, 88, of Palmyra, PA, passed away peacefully with family by her side, on Monday, January 30, 2012. She was born Monday, December 31, 1923 in Chelsea, MA to the late Paul and Alice (Bardisbanian) Krikorian. She was married to her loving husband Edwin G. Weinheimer, who passed away in 2001. Mary was a graduate of Cooper Union Art School in New York City. She spent her life's work as an artist and calligraphy instructor. She was a Docent for the Scottsdale Art Center in Scottsdale, AZ, where she lived from 1985 to 1997. She later moved to San Diego, CA, Tom's River, NJ, and finally to Palmyra, PA where she spent her final days. She is survived by a daughter; Dorothy Braun of Palmyra, PA, a son; David Weinheimer and his wife Elaine of Waurika, OK, two grandchildren; Dainel Braun of Palmyra, PA and Dr. Elisabeth Lucassen and husband David of Kandern, Germany, two great-grandchildren; Sebastian and Julian Lucassen of Kandern, Germany, and two sisters; Dorothy Kazanjian and Helen Jones both of Manchester, NJ. A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 with interment to follow in BG William C Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078.
