Michele Marie Draper, 44, Our Beloved Mitchy ended a heroic 2 1/2 year battle against cancer on May 16th, 2008. Born November 9, 1963 in Ithaca, New York to Gary and Shirley Saul; she was a devoted wife to Rick Draper, a wonderful Mother to Lacey Trevino (Joe), Danielle Nolasco (Wilfredo) and son Justin and a loving Grandmother to Esperanza and Wilfredo, Jr. She is also survived by her Mother and stepfather Shirley and Gary Dial, sisters Cheri Frietze (Donald), and Robin Hernandez (Rory) and brothers Daniel and Timothy Saul. Many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her multitude of friends and co-workers and her dearest friends Joannie, Pris and Diane. Hey Aunt Mitch,
Just wanted to let you know that I was thinking about you a lot today. I keep having these dreams about the whole family this last week and you were there one of the nights, we talked about all the things that you wanted to do before you passed away which was funny because you had mentioned something that you didn't want to do if you had come to St. Kitts and I can't remember what is right now, something to do with snorkeling or diving. Well I miss you bunches, I look at pictures at how young Esperanza and Junior look and I can't help at wanting to cry. I miss you!

Mitchy,
Having you be such a close part of my life was one of the best gifts God ever gave me. I will always miss coming to your house for bagels on Chrismas morning in our pajamas or being able to walk over to just set for a while. You taught me how to stand up for what I believe in & I will always hold you in my heart. Thank you for all of the wonderful memories & treating me like I was your sister & not just an in-Law. I will miss you dearly.
Love you always

To my friend;

We carry your heart with us
We carry it in our heart
we are never without it
anywhere we go you go,my dear;
and whatever is done
by only us, is your doing my friend

We fear no fate, for you are our fate our sweet
We want no world for beautiful, you are our world
and you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

Here is the deepest secret nobody knows
here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life, which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

We carry your heart, we carry it in our heart

I will miss you terribly, but I know you will always be my special angel.
I will always keep Rick, Lacey, Danielle and Justin in my prayers.

Aunt Mitch,
I miss you dearly, love you so much and can't imagine how it's going to be without you around. You gave this message to me at a time that I needed it and I feel that it symbolizes you as well:

It is not how long the flower blooms, but how beautifully.

You were a very beautiful person to me.
