I met Mr. Hoover in the "chemo room" while I was getting treatments. He was such an interesting guy. Time would go by so quickly while I listened to his wonderful geneology stories. Then one day I went into remission so I didn't have to go in for treatments as often but when I did, I'd take my booklet of family history, hoping that maybe we were related. Unfortunately his visits were becoming rare too so we didn't connect again. When I heard he had passed, my heart sank. Even though it was a short friendship, I will always keep a little place in my heart for him.
My thoughts & prayers go out to his family.
