Our Dearest Nicole,

It has almost been 1 year since you last walked with us. Our lives are still a mess and we are still coping with the realization that you aren't ever coming back to see us. My granddaughters ach from not feeling and smelling their mothers breath and touch.

I see my son weep with the anguish that he stands alone without his best friend by his side. Your sister Stacy can barely bring herself to enter your home since you've been gone.

I look at your picture daily on my dresser and see your smirk of a smile and I can hear your deep belly laugh, Thank you for coming and visiting me in the hospital. I miss you loads baby and my heart aches when ever I think of you. I know we had out MOTHER INLAW times but I alwasys loved and respected you for making my son and grandchildren soo happy. I know that we would have worked out our differences shortley and all would have been healed. My heart aches for your smile and scent too. love ya mama sherman.,,,Come and see me in my dreams. I await to feel your touch.xxxooo

To everyone who has taken the time to write in the guest book: I knew that a lot of people loved my sweet sister but she effected so many more lives than I ever imagined. I knew she was special, but I never realized HOW special. I wish everyone could know her like I did. She was my everthing. My only sister, my only sibling. I still want to call her everyday. She was my sanity. I don't even know what to do with myself without her. I want to be all that she would have been for me. I'm not as stong as she was, but I know she's helping me. She loved children so much. Obviously her own more than anything. But she loved mine like her own and I will always make sure they know that. We're all grieving so different. We've lost a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, and a friend. I can't begin to say thank-you for all the love and support. It has been amazing. But it does'nt begin to take away the pain and loss. Who knows what even could. I just miss her so much. I guess we all do.

I miss you my sweet sister. Come to me in my dreams.

Although we never knew Nicole, our son & daughter-in-law, Andy & Melanie Hellner, knew her well. Nicole took care of our only grandchild, Alyssa, and it was through Andy & Melanie that we learned of her devotion to children. She was a caring & special person & it will be difficult to replace her- We are sure that Alyssa loved her very much- Our prayers go out to all of you, but we know Nicole will always be in your hearts-

Jason and the girls, I am so sorry about Nicole. I live down the street and we talked many times about babysitting, I do daycare as well. Also, she shared her spider plants with me and candles were always a topic. The funny emails were the best. I will miss hearing from her. I will miss you Nicole.

My heart goes out to the family of my childhood friend.(Show Low Year Books) I remember slumber parties and girl talks and support and friendship from Nicole. We told each other everything when we were young she was a wonderful confidant. I regret not keeping in touch better, but I know she lived a wonderful life and I will always have the best of memories of Nicole. To her daughters, live and love like your Mom, it will be her greatest legacy. To Jason, my deepest simpathy and regrets. God bless you at this trying time. To Amy, I know how dear she was to you and hope that you will turn to the Lord for your comfort, sisters are eternal.

To the whole family:

I can't even express how sorry I am for your loss. Nicole was truely a beautiful person and I feel very honored to be in her life over the last 6 years. She was always a friend I could tell ANYTHING to. She would do anything for me and my kids. She truely showed my kids how much she loved them and they loved her very much. That is somthing I will cherish in my heart forever. She was with me when I had my son and I loved sharing that with her. Those memories will always be so very special to me. We talked almost daily and having her to share daycare stories with was what got me through the day. I am going to miss her so much. We always talked about how we couldn't wait to be grandmothers together, now I'm just so sad that we won't get to experience that with each other. But I picture Nicole up in heaven taking care of all the babies yet to be born or those who died young and just smiling because she sured loved babies. That is what gets me through the day and makes me smile when I am feeling so sad because she is gone. I just want you all to know that I am very sorry for your loss and just how very much I love her. Jason, Hailey and Mckenna I will always be here for you, in whatever you need. I love you guys very much. God Bless you all. I love you Nicole, rest in peace. Love Stacey

Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. There's not a moment passes that I don't think of what a great friend and childcare provider Nicole is. I've said over and over to myself, that you never know how much you truly love someone until they're gone. Nicole helped me to be the mom I am today. I will never ever forget her laugh, and her funny faces! I know Alyssa will miss her, and I hope to keep Nicole's memory alive by staying in touch. We send our deepest sympathies. We love you guys so much and we're here if ever you need us! Love always, Melanie, Andy and Alyssa

The day you left this earth you came to me in a dream. You were in my thoughts all day the next day. Tuesday I got the devastating phone call that shatters my heart and shakes me to the core. Were you trying to tell me good-bye? I don't know for sure. What I do know is that you gave me the greatest and funniest childhood memories. Come and see me again soon, we have so much to catch up on. I love and miss you so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love forever, Melanie
