My heartfelt sympathy to Dr. Noel Smith family. I remember him as a leader of our medical society and as a colleague who over the years referred to me a great many of his patients for xray work. His patients always spoke about him with affection and respect. He was a wonderful man who will be missed by all who knew him.

I'd like to express my deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Smith. He was my mom's next door neighbor on Squaw Peak Circle. He was always telling us when we had left the garage door open or a package/mail had come to his address by mistake. Even though he acted as though he didn't miss your mom, he missed her tremendously! The world will be a sadder place with out him. He was one of the sweetest men I've known. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Peace be with you.

Our sympathy to the family of Dr. Smith. My family was lucky to have him as our Doctor while growing up here in Phoenix, from the sore throats, ear aches and the physical exams. Thanks again Dr. Smith.

I can remeber hiding from Dr. Smith behind the exam room table as a small child. He was always able to coax me out. (unless I knew I was going to have to get a shot, then he'd send in Muriel) (this was in the 60's & 70's) When my travels bring me past his old office on 15th Avenue, memories of what a good man he was come to mind. He cared for our whole family for many years. My thoughts are with his family.

Muriel and Noelle
I have thought about you two and your dad so much in the past few years. I remember when we were living in Safford, and then living back to back (you guys on Whitton and me and my mom on Weldon) here in Phoenix near Encanto and Clarendon Schools. The day I was kidnapped, when I got home, my mom sent me to your apartment to stay until she returned with the detective.

My oldest child, Jim, was delivered by your dad. He even came to my house when I miscarried before I got pregnant with Jim. When I got pregnant again I was so sad when he told me he wasn't delivering babies any more.

I remember when the kids at Clarendon were sick, they were walked down the street to his office and he cared for them.

He was such a sweet, good, doctor. My mom also thought the world of him. It's interesting that he died on December 7. That's my mom's birthday.

I know you know what a great man he was. Feel comfort knowing that many, many of us felt the same way about him.
