Grandpa was such an intelligent young man; he made me laugh all the time. I remember the fun we had when I stayed at his house. I will never forget the memories we had before he had Alzheimer's disease. Grandpa if you are listening right now I have to say that I will always love you . I will always be in your heart, no matter where you are, and you'll always be in my heart. Mason

Besides being very accomplished and a great role model, he was the best dad. He cared about others and worked to better their lives. I'm proud to be his daughter. I love you "Big O", and I will miss you. LL

Orren was my mother's nephew, and one of my favorite people on this earth. Orren loved to meet and spend time with people, and loved to tell stories. Our household always got excited when we heard he was coming for a visit.

I will miss those visits and his stories, and I will dearly miss the man. I hope he's somewhere that he can visit with old friends, political/newspaper collegues, and my mom.

Orren, you made a difference in this world with your newspaper stories, your other works, and your devotion to your wife and kids. You made a difference in my life, and the lives of my immediate family -- we miss you, we love you, and we will always remember.
