Patrick McCloskey Obituary

Patrick Daniel McCloskey passed away on September 3, 2006. Patrick was born December 12, 1959 in Neptune, NJ. Patrick is survived by his wife of 24 years, Gretchen McCloskey (Hartmann), and his 2 loving children, Madelyn 8, and Patrick, 6. He is also survived by his parents Steve and LaVerne McCloskey, his 6 brothers and sisters, many brothers and sisters-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. Patrick was a sports enthusiast. He enjoyed participating as much as watching his favorite teams. You could always count on him to give you the latest stats. Patrick was always quick with a joke or had a story to share. He enjoyed being with his children, they brought great joy to him. His love for them was so enormous. Patrick had many struggles in his life, the past year he was dedicated to creating a new path. He loved his family very much and his effort towards a brighter future has made them all proud. He also brought his faith in God back into his life. He died knowing that he was forgiven. He was a true friend who loved unconditionally. He will be truly missed by family and friends. His love for life was so genuine. Visitation will be held at Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary, 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Road in Scottsdale AZ on Sept 6, 2006 from 6:30-8:30 pm, with a Scripture Service at 8:00 P.M.. Funeral Services will be at Our Lady of Joy, 36811 N Pima Road, Carefree, AZ on Sept 7, 2006 at 10:00am. Internment immediately following at Paradise Garden Cemetery. A memorial fund has been set up in his name for his children's education, please send donations to Northwestern Mutual, c/o Brian Bessellieu, 841 Preston Road, Suite 700, Dallas, TX 75225. A special thank you to Harold and Lisa Halman and Jayson and Debbie Dammen for taking care of my family during their time of need and always believing in me. A memorial service will also be held in the Minneapolis area at a date to be determined.

Pat will always be remembered by his many friends at Heil as a wonderful person in all respects. He often talked about his family and would glow when showing their pictures. I wondered where Pat was and what he was doing. Now we know.....he left us for Heaven at such a young age. Pat will be sadly missed by all whose lives he touched.
