Dearest Nancy,
There are no words to describe how sad I am for you and Natalie and how grateful I am to have been there with you during this difficult time. The church service was lovely, and the hundreds of people who came to honor Pat just goes to show what a special person he was. He will be remembered and missed by all of us. You and your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

I will always remember growing up with Patrick and the rest of the Rink's. We were almost like one big family. My mom and his mom grew up together and remained friends until death. I was fortunate enough to have Pat and Peter stay at my house when their mom died and I will never forget the night of tears and laughter. I will always be greatful for some of the best memories of my life with Patrick and his brothers. He will never be forgotten.

Nancy, although I only had the pleasure of meeting Pat once - it was such a lovely Phoenix spring evening by Anna's pool where we all chilled with interesting conversation and fab wine- he immediately impressed me as being someone special.
My heart is with you and Natalie and Pat's other children during this dark and difficult time.

I only knew Pat for a short time and as a business associate, but I can tell you that I always looked forward to meeting with him and I always came away from our meetings with a good feeling. I regret not getting to know him better. Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss.
