I don’t even know how to express the impact you have had on my life. It always amazed me that with great acceptance, understanding and unconditional love you were always there with open arms and an open heart without fail. With loving eyes and a warm smile you would listen and let us know that everything would be ok. I appreciate the way you saw each of us grandkids as individuals and you had a different relationship with all of us. That couldn’t have been easy with 9 grandchildren. Of course you made it look so simple. For as long as I can remember you always made me feel so special and so comfortable being myself. I never had to fake a smile or put on an act, you would have seen right through it anyway. I could be open and honest with you about anything and never feared what you might think or say. You loved me through everything no matter what. You offered nothing but positive encouragement and a constant reminder that I would always have the love and support of our family to help me through. I hope you knew that has been a huge part of the women I have become. You helped me grow in so many ways just letting me to be me.

You taught me and the rest of our family to always love one another unconditionally and never judge each other or turn our backs on each other because family is one of the most important things in our lives. Your courage and strength through the years was most apparent through your wisdom and gratitude. I could always tell you had learned a lesson or two. You showed us how to live life to the fullest and you did just that. You had a positive nature, a great sense of humor and you were so much fun. I can only hope that you knew how much you touched so many lives by simply being you and allowing others to do the same. Thank you for never holding back, being your true self and showing me how to LIVE, LAUGH & LOVE.

I love you and miss you so much, but I will always be grateful to have been blessed with a Grandma like you.

She was so special. I'll miss so many things about her, but mostly just her presence...for me, she made any family gathering better by being there. She may have "only" been my aunt, but I adored her more than I can express.

To the Cope Family....we send our thoughts and prayers. Pat was a wonderful lady who always had a smile and a hug for everyone. She loved her family so much, and she leaves behind a wonderful legacy of that love. She was my dear, dear, cousin and it was an honor to share family ties with her. May she rest in peace now. Sending my love to all of you, Sandy
