Patsy Gomez Obituary
69 (World's Most Devoted Grandma) was called to return to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 22, 2014. Patsy was born in Morenci, AZ on August 30, 1944, and she moved to Phoenix as a young child. Patsy was an energetic woman who loved to laugh and was always full of life and love. She was very passionate about Elvis music and traveling to Hawaii, but most of all, Patsy adored her husband, children and grandchildren. Patsy married her most loving, eternal companion Jacob, on December 30, 1974. Together Patsy and Jacob brought two daughters into this world. Patsy is survived by her mother Nellie Gomez, her amazing husband of almost 40 years, Jacob Gomez, her sons John Ramirez (wife Deborah), Joseph Ramirez, daughters Angela Gomez-Lee (husband Aaron), Patricia Gomez (wife Morgan), 5 grandsons Daniel Ramirez, Jeffrey Ramirez, Thomas Ramirez, Christopher Ramirez and Brandon Jacob Lee (the love of her life). Although we will not be able to physically see our sweet wife, mom, and grandma Patsy in this life, we will feel her love with us forever. The countless precious memories she gave us will remain in our hearts and minds to serve as a reminder of her immense love for each one of us. Memorial services for Patsy will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Camelview Ward 3920 N. 44th Place in Phoenix. Flowers may be sent to Whitney and Murphy Funeral home at 4800 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018.

I am Nora Sample Acosta,fist cousin to Patsy... My mom & uncle Ben were brother & sister,my mom being Nellie Chavez Sample. I would like to offer my deepest condolences to all of Patsy's family. I remember the last time I saw her and her girls,when my uncle had heart surgery,and I remember thinking how beautiful they all were. Although I didn't know her,I know that she is my own flesh and blood.. I am so sorry for your loss.. I know that it is one of the hardest trials of life to loose a loved one... We will always miss you! I never got the chance to thank you for inviting us to your for the holidays you were always so sweet God has gained another angel and that will help our sorrows! Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone. Those we love can never be more that a thought apart. For as long there is a memory, they'll live on in our hearts. Love always your nephew Anthony!
