Paul Dana Obituary

Dana, Paul H.
Paul Dana passed away unexpectedly on December 17, 2013 from surgical complications. He passed peacefully and without prolonged pain for which we are truly grateful. Born July 9, 1954 in Lawrence MA, Paul had many interests including: camping, photography and astronomy. He loved cars and driving fast and furiously. He was always working on some home improvement project. A consummate jokester, Paul had a funny though irreverent sense of humor. He worked as an aeronautics quality engineer. Paul leaves behind his loving wife of 18 years, Sharon (Reed); siblings: Mary Dana-Coar of Payson, AZ; Mark Dana of Salem, NH; his in-laws: Mary, Tim, David, Debbie and Jodie Reed; Shirley O'Neil, Kathy Ruport and Dawn Long. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, George and Jacqueline Dana. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Paul's honor to the Doberman Pinscher Rescue. Please toast a drink to Paul's memory and a have a laugh at one of his many jokes.

Paul was a great friend and we shared many wonderful times together. He is truly missed but I know he is playing guitar by a campfire in heaven.

Paul (PHD) you were a great friend to me for many years. I will never forget our time hiking, camping, photographing and exploring the Arizona desert. You taught me so much about loving the beauty of nature and the times we shared were some of the best times of my life. Though we parted ways, I have been inspired by you throughout my life and will continue to honor you with a passion for the beauty life has to offer. Rest in Peace my friend. You will be missed by many.
