Paul Sowers Obituary
After a two year Heroic fight against Brain Cancer, my beloved husband Paul Michael Sowers passed on 10/20/17 while in the care of THEMA Hospice staff surrounded by family and friends. Paul was born on July 28, 1954 in Fort Defiance, Arizona to parents Paul and Anna Black Sowers. Paul graduated from Northern Arizona University with his degree in vocational education. After a time as an educator Paul started in his profession as a Surveyor and later as a Survey Manager. In the most recent years Paul was an owner operator of his own surveying business, Paul Sowers and Associates PLC. Paul is survived by his wife, Barbara Burton; three biological sons, Matthew, Michael and Jeffrey Sowers; three stepsons, Jason, Mark and Reuben Levy; and fifteen grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Anna (Black) Sowers and siblings Patricia (Frank) Stegal, William (Jacki) Sowers and Raymond (Candi) Sowers. Paul is preceded in death by his father, Paul C. Sowers. Cremation has been accorded per Paul's wishes.
