I just learned of Paul's death.
To his loving family I am so sorry for your loss.
I had the opportunity to work with Paul for a short time before I retired from the City. What a truly amazing young man in his attitude and work ethic and his kindness.
A delight to be in his company.

We were deeply saddened to learn of Paul's passing. There were so many of our families bonded by our young swimmers for so many years. Knowing Paul was sharing his enthusiasm and love for swimming coaching the next generation of swimmers just seemed right somehow... Elva, Big Jim and Jim... You will be in our prayers

I had the pleasure of coaching Paul when he was a boy. He made my job easy and was a wonderful student of the sport of swimming and an example to his peers of what a great team mate should be. I just stopped by the pool a few weeks ago to catch up with him and enjoyed our talk. As a coach I heard only great things about him and he made a huge difference in the kids lives he touched. Never to be forgotten and always missed.

My heart sank when I heard of this news... Paul and I worked together in the same management program here in Tucson. Though we were in different departments, we often took lunch breaks together and chatted about life and where the program would take us. Paul was a very kind soul. The world is undoubtedly missing a great guy. RIP buddy.
