Peter Sciacca Obituary

Peter Michael Sciacca, 81, of Chandler, passed away on September 16,
2005. He was born as Pietro Sciacca on December 6, 1923 in the Bronx Borough of New York City, New York to Pietro and Giuseppe Sciacca, immigrants from Italy. Peter was the youngest and last of four children to pass away, preceded (in birth order) by Josephine, George, and Frank Sciacca. He grew up in New York and served in World War II traveling to Europe for the US Coast Guard. Peter spent a lifetime as an accomplished woodworker craftsman, artisan, and cabinet maker. His works will survive him for years to come. Peter fought and survived over two decades battling leukemia, lymphoma and other life-threatening ailments. He remained strong throughout and died of natural causes. He is survived by his wife, Edith Elizabeth Sciacca and step-daughter Karen White and family. He is also survived by his two sons Stephan Joseph and Peter George, daughter-in-law Sigrid Fan and his three grandchildren, Kit, Christian and Isaac Sciacca. A family and friends celebration will be held at his son's home, 1043 E. Longhorn Place in Chandler, 85249 on Sunday, September 25th, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
