Philden Isom White

Philden Isom (Phil) White, age 69, passed away at home in Star Valley, Arizona on July 25, 2008. He was born December 28, 1938 in Mesa, Arizona. Phil and his family moved to Payson, Arizona in June 1977. He owned Phil White Chevrolet in Payson and then Phil White Ford in Star Valley until his retirement in 2007. He was a successful businessman in the community and a life-time member of the LDS Church. Phil was preceded in death by his parents, E.G. and Lola White, a brother Raymond, and a grandson Mikel White. He is survived by his wife, Judy Elizabeth White; four children, Colton (Julie) White, Payson, Heidi Hill, Gilbert, Arizona, Calli Sweeney, Payson, and Christina (Colton) Baker, Payson; two brothers, Randy White, Payson, and Bob White, Payson; and a sister, Lela Overson, Mesa, Arizona; 18 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren; in add'rtion to many nieces, nephews and cousins. He dearly loved all of his family. Phil fought a valiant fight against cancer the past five years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 31, at 11:00 o'clock at the LDS Church on Ponderosa Street, Payson, Arizona. Viewing will be one hour prior to the services at 10:00 o'clock. Graueside services will be held at the Mountain Meadows Memorial Park on Gibson Ranch Rd. following the funeral services. Immediately afterwards, a luncheon will be held at the LDS Church on Ponderosa Street, Payson. The family requests memorial donations to the Payson Humane Society, P.O.
