I got to know Pete from the baseball games at ASU while Andre was playing for the Sun Devils.
I also worked at AiResearch/Honeywell and knew Pete's name, but had never worked with him directly.
We had many enjoyable discussions about Pete's experiences in pro ball, baseball and softball at AiResearch, and grandson Andre's accomplishments at ASU.
My condolences to the Ethier family on their loss.

My deepest sympathies to all of the Ethier friends and family. I had a lot of fun hangin' with "Ma and Pa E" and all of the Ethier boys over at the old homestead during my high school and college days. There was always something going on over there- lot's of good talk and a menagerie of animals to boot. And Pa E was the picture of health with his tennis game and all. I know Pa E will be deeply missed by all including me. God bless you Mr. Ethier. Thanks for all of the good times!

I will miss the talks I had with Pete. Seems the subject always got around to baseball.

Very sorry to hear about Pete's passing. Pete played 2nd base and I played shortstop on Aireseach's championship teams so we knew each other well. He was a great man, ballplayer and friend will be missed. I am in San Diego at the present time.
