55, of Purvis, MS passed away on February 25, 2013. Rick was born in New London, Conn. on April 10, 1957 and passed away peacefully on Monday, February 25, 2013. He lived his life in his own way and enjoyed life fully. His life was spent in the Navy, construction, was a painter, a truck driver, a chef, an apartment manager, an oil derrick operator, a nurse and was even a tug boat operator. Rick took pleasure in spending time with family and friends and was a enormous source of information; always having the answer to a particularly difficult question on almost any topic. His passions were family, animals, music and the sea. He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly, both parents, Leonard and Janice Watkins, two children, Robert Kelly (Holly) and Jennifer Kittler (Bryon), nine grandchildren, two brothers, Robert Hill (Katie) and Patrick Hill (Laura), two sisters, Lauri Hill and Jodi Hazelip (David) and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 11am at St Raphaels Catholic Church in Glendale, AZ. In lieu of flowers, please do a good deed for a neighbor, family member or friend in his honor. You will be incredibly missed, my friend. Keep a light on for us all until we join you in Paradise.
