To the families of Wes
I feel like I know Wes,the last seven years Diane has been my friend and doing my hair here in Pensacola. I lost both my parents in the last 3 1/2 years and Diane and I always talked about how my parents and Wes were doing. I bend her ear so many times over the years and I know it was hard for her to hear because of Wesley illness . Diane thanks for being supportive and if you need anything I'm here for you. I know how much you love your son and always had so much hope. My condolences to Wesley wife and all his family.

JR, I was very sorry to hear about your son's passing. I'm sorry I never got to know him. Since Mom and Dad's passing I haven't been back down ol' Lawrence Rd. I miss seeing you and your family. It's too bad that tragedy must reunite friends/neighbors. Accept our heartfilled sorrow and blessings upon you and your family. May your memories ease your pain as the days go by and bring joy back into your hearts.

My condolences to the family and friends that you leave behind. I remember you well when I used to watch over you and your brother, Andy, as children. You both were and are such great personalities. I remember you as a young adult and you inspired me with your humility and generosity. You are a tribute to the loved ones you leave behind in how you were as a man. People should aspire to your level so the world may benefit from it. Thirty-two seems too young to be plucked from the earth, but it is not whether you win or lose in life but what you do with the time you are given. You, Wes, accomplished a lot. Rest in peace and may your next journey be an adventurous one.

Our family's thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time. I will always remember Wes as a very caring and compassionate nurse who touched the lives of many families during his time as an RN in the PICU at PCH. My immediate impression was this was a man who was meticulous and wanted to make a difference in the lives of families going through crisis. Wes worked so very hard to live out his dream in the short time he had. He never expected to be treated any differently even though he was fighting his own battle! I will be ever grateful that I made the decision to make Wes a part of the PCH and PICU family. He made such an impact on the lives of many families!
Wes also made us smile... who else went and oh just happened to get married on their day off!
He certainly made the most of every day!
May the assurance that Wes is seated in Heaven with our Lord and Saviour and is hearing "job well done good and faithful servant" help to bring you peace.
Blessings,
Natalie and Phillip Nevin

I will never forgot when my grandson was in PCH in intensive care and in a coma. You only got to take care of him twice but always told me you and your wife prayed for him everyday. Our grandson is well and living a regular life. For all your compassion and prayers and skill in your job heavens doors opened wide for you. I will pray for your family at this time. Mamama
