Robert Carlen Obituary
83, of Sun City, AZ went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2016. A man of integrity and faith, he was always eager to help, teach and pray for others. Born March 26, 1933 in Concord NH and at age 11, he surrendered his life to Jesus. While studying for the ministry, he met his sweetheart Elva at Bob Jones University. He received his Master's degree from Denver Theological Seminary and would go on to minister in churches in CO, NH, and AZ. He was known for his beautiful baritone voice, and recorded an album of his favorite hymns. He loved family, church, choir, and Bible study. The legacy of Bob Carlen and his faithful service will carry on in the many lives he touched, his bride of 60 years, 3 children and spouses, 9 grandchildren and spouses, 7 great-grandchildren and many friends. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00pm on June 25th at Compass Bible Church, 11230 W. Alabama Ave, Youngtown, AZ 85363. Donations can be made to Samaritan's Purse Shoebox ministry thru Compass Bible Church.
