As a broadcasting-journalism student at ASU and general manager of the campus radio station, I had the privilege of having Bob as my mentor. Our relationship spanned 5 decades. I treasure my memories and his wisdom as he continues to impact my life.

Bob and Frankie and the kids lived near us (a street over) and also the Akers family when we were on Santa Cruz in Tempe. One of the kindest men ever and brought so much to KAET. I am so sorry. Much love.
