Robin Blasnek Obituary

Robin Blasnek, precious daughter and sister, tragically lost her life on July 30, 2006 at age 22. Robin was our special needs child, a kind, gentle, and trusting soul who loved life and all the people she met during her journey here. She was intensely curious, always asking a million questions. She was never judgemental of others and always accepting of those with disabilities more severe than her own. When she graduated from Mtn View HS, she had volunteered over 400-hours serving children, especially the disabled. Robin loved being with family and friends. She touched and blessed the lives of many with her unique and special personality. Her family expresses their deep appreciation and love to all those saintly teachers and others who helped her navigate through life. Visitation is 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Fri, Aug 4 at The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1455 N. Harris, also from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, August 5. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. on Sat, Aug 5. Robin will be laid to rest in the Pima Cemetery, next to her sister, Rachel. If desired, donations be made in Robin's name to Zoo Walk for Autism Blasnek Team at www.zoowalk.org

I am at a loss for words. I knew Rachel and Robin and was lucky enough to teach them both at Kino. My prayer for your family is that you find your comfort and strenght in the Lord Jesus Christ. May his peace and grace comfort you in this difficult time.

Your family doesn't know me and I never knew your daughter, Robin, but I just wanted to express the

sorrow I feel for you at this time. I know that through the peace of the spirit that our Heavenly Father sends us, that you will again get through the loss of yet another child. Please know that prayers are being said by families and individuals who don't even know you or Robin. The public's hearts ache for you and the loss of such a precious daughter. Pray that His spirit will touch you and help you through this difficult time. She sounds like she was a very choice and precious daughter of God. She is with Him now and is at peace. Everyone I have been around this past week has just expressed so much love and concern for your family. We love you!

Sandra, Steve & Family, I will never understand why our Lord works as he does, to take Rachel so tragically and suddenly in late '95, and now once again with the tragic and sudden loss of Robin. I know we shouldn't question our Lord's decisions, so riding on faith in his infinite wisdom and love, I hope that when you all get to his kingdom and rejoin Rachel and Robin, that your pain will be totally lifted and you'll rejoice in a sea of love and tranquility.

Wishing you peace and comfort during the coming days and that you are able to focus on the good times with Robin, who is now with Rachel and the rest of the angels.

August 5, 2006

To Robin's Family,

I had the good fortune & blessing of being Robin's teacher for a semester at Mnt. View Seminary. I remember her making such 'matter-of-fact' comments that left me feeling like she new something that I didn't know. She spoke to me a lot about her sister Rachel; how much she loved her & how she knew that she would see her again. And now she is with her again. I am grateful to have known her, sorry that I have missed her funeral, and I am deeply sorry for your loss. May the Lord bless you.

I worked with Robin at Mountain View in Ms. Sargent's math class. I was a Teacher's aide for Ms. Sargent. I remembered she always loved listening to her cd player. We had to tell to turn it off so she could do her math. But she would begg that if she could do both. I sometimes caved in. She also volunteered to help me open the door because I'm in a wheelchair. I'm sorry for your loss, but it does help knowing that we will see her in Heaven or when the Millenium comes and both me and Robin will be perfect with no disabilites. Your family is in my prayers.
