Roger Bitikofer Obituary
Mesa - Mr. Roger Allen Bitikofer of Mesa, Arizona, passed away Thursday, December 10th, 2020 at the age of 73.
Roger was born to Martin and Betty Bitikofer on December 4th, 1947 in Dover, Ohio. He grew up the eldest of two children and attended Maumee High School graduating in 1966. Roger was a Vietnam veteran having served from 1966-1969 as a radar technician and achieved the rank of sergeant before his honorable discharge.
On September 19th, 1969. Roger married Joyce Bernadine Clouse, and the couple had four children. Joyce worked in nursing as an LPN until her retirement. Roger was a maintenance mechanic for most of his working career before retiring from gig driving with Lyft in 2020.
Roger is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce Bitikofer; his children Joya, Ryan, Jena, and Jana; and seven grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Martin and Betty Bitikofer and his younger brother, Gary.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 19th, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Alma School Road Church of Christ in Chandler, AZ. The family will hold a private cremation on Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020 at 8:30 AM at Bunker funeral home, Garden Chapel.
