Ruby "Edna" Bradshaw

Glendale - Ruby Edna Bradshaw, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away on March 27th, 2018 at the age of 88. She is preceded in death by her loving husband John Bradshaw of 64 years. They were married in Iuka, Mississippi on December 21st, 1951. Ruby is lovingly remembered by her sons John Bradshaw II and Donald Bradshaw, daughter-in-laws Brenda Bradshaw and Renee Bradshaw, grandsons John Bradshaw III and Paul Bradshaw, granddaughters-in-law Jamie Bradshaw and Elizabeth Bradshaw, and great grandchildren Will and Hannah Bradshaw. She was from Cherokee, Alabama and was the 5th child of Elisabeth and Roy Bolton born February 7th, 1930. In 1957, Ruby and her husband John moved to the Phoenix area where they lived for over 60 years. Ruby was a PBX operator at Phoenix Baptist Hospital for over 30 years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family & friends. She also loved animals and pets. Ruby was an active member of the church of Christ and spent time over the years teaching children's bible class and caring for the needy. A visitation will be held at Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale AZ 85301 on April 2, 2018 at 11:00 am. The funeral service will be held at Chapel of the Chimes on April 2, 2018 at 12:00 noon with Ray Miler officiating. Private interment to follow.
