Sage Gustafson Obituary

Gustafson, Sage Joseph
16 months, was taken from his loving family much too early on February 1, 2012. Sage was born September 23, 2010 to Jacob and Stefany Gustafson of Phoenix. He loved animals, balls, trucks, and was always on the go. He had a contagious smile and charismatic personality. Sage leaves behind his parents, 2 brothers; Jaden and Jace. He is also survived by his Grandparents: Doug and Christal Gustafson, Cheryl and Larry Archibald, and Mark and Barb Dunn; Aunts and Uncles, Tiffany and Brett Smith, Devin and Tara Gustafson, Shane Novak, Catina Willis, Jolyne and Mike O'Brien; and cousins Grayson Smith, Emma Gustafson, and Connor Hicks. Sage was also blessed with several Great grandparents, Great Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Sage was a blessing and we will cherish his memory forever. Through one tragic accident, God gained a precious angel. Memorial Service will be held at La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church, 64th Street and Bell in Scottsdale at 3p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 with a reception to follow.

Hello, I am an active hiker, and I saw your inspiring and wonderful memorial for Sage on a mountain above the Maricopa Trail. The mountain is listed on topographic maps as Peak 2875. However, given the effort you made to put this memorial on top, I hope you don't mind that I have posted the mountain as "Sage Gustafson Peak". Usually by doing this, the name catches on, and people will recognize it for years to come with that name.
