Shawn you were a awsome person to be around. i remember when I got on TNT and you and Gebhart were the only riders. Always respected your skating and loved that beat up stickered up car. Uh you were a cool person to hang with and I am sorry I hadn't hung out with you in years. You know we all do our own thing now. Miss you, love you, and won't forget you. Love Charlie Brewster.

Claudia, years 2008 and 2009 were horrible ones for you losing both your mom, dad and your son. I hope my prayers for you will help lessen that burden on you. I've lighted several candles at church for Shawn, and I believe those lighted candles speak to him letting him know how much he will be missed and my wish for eternal peace for his soul. I only got to meet him once, but what a pleasant young man he was, with the cutest smile and handsom face. May God be with you and all of his closest friends.

Claudia, words cannot convey my sorrow at your loss. I only met Shawn one time...he was very sweet, rather shy, quite handsome, and what a terrific artist! I regret I was unable to know him better.
You will remain in my prayers, and we can be grateful Shawn is resting in a wonderful place.

It was disturbing to hear of Shawn's passing. It makes one realize how others are impacted by a genuine soul who had a thirst for life like Shawn did. It has been quite some since i have been around Shawn, but i have fond memories of how he enjoyed life in the presence of his friends. Shawn was appreciated by many and it might be in the interest of human kindness and integrity to really tell others how you appreciate them at times. My thoughts are with his family and close friends at this time.

Shawn,
It has been so many years since I have seen you- the last time was when we drove back from LA together at night through the desert maybe 10 years ago-but I will remember the many years of friendship that we shared and your smile, your red cheeks, your laugh and your dry will not be forgotten. May you find peace.

It has been 9 years since I've seen Shawn but when Tim called me and told me what happened my heart broke just the same as if Shawn was still a part of my daily existence. I first met him when I was 16 and he has played a major part in my life ever since, even without his presence. I still to this day have a guitar amp he made me for Christmas many years ago. My guitar still has a note sheet that is glued to it while he was teaching me to play. Actually, I think he attached it with cement, so I never would forget because I've tried to get it off and never have been able to. I am so grateful for the time I had with him. He made me smile, laugh, and cry. It is very rare to meet a person who has the ability to do anything they want with such little effort. I use to watch in amazement how he could pick up any instrument and just play or create what he saw in his mind with no struggle. He will be missed, I will miss him. My thoughts go out to his mother and family. I am so sorry for your loss.

Chris and I have known Shawn for about 21 years. During that time he and Chris have shared 4 or 5 addresses and we have made uncountable memories. Nearly every day with Shawn would result in some unforgettable moment. He had a sense of humor like no one else and the guts to never hold anything back. He was a loyal friend. After several years of not having any contact we were recently blessed to have reconnected with him and it was as if no time had gone by. I will always remember Shawn not only for his humor but for his love of his guitar, skateboard and music. He was passionate about these things. I will never forget his sweet, sincere smile and those bright blue eyes. You certainly enriched many of our lives Shawn and you will be missed by so many. We love you.
